WHAT A SOCIAL REPORT IS
Following the Social Work Code of Ethics (2012), the social report is the technical assessment that, based on observation and interview, summarises the situation of a person or family, the professional's evaluation and a proposed intervention. It is an instrument specific and exclusive to social work, drawn up either on the social worker’s own initiative (ex officio) or at the request of a third party.
